AVS Video Converter 6.2.3.314

Editor's Review - AVS Video Converter

'AVS Video Converter', as the name suggests, is a program that helps you convert video files. Unlike other converting software, this program can help you modify settings like brightness, add effects like motion blur, and add even audio effects. Besides, there are several "unexpected features", as the producer calls them. You can capture video, rip and burn DVDs, and even extract audio. As input, it supports many video file formats like AVI, DivX, MPEG (1, 2, and 4), VOB, SWF, WMV, etc. It also supports drag-and-drop for the input video files.

You can add features that adjust the video file, add effects, or even adjust the audio settings. From the edit window, I tried to add features in the work area. When I added audio features, I discovered that modifying these settings and then modifying settings from other areas wasn't working. Even though the name of the feature changed, the available settings were the same as in the audio feature.

While testing the program, I discovered that it's a big resource user, so the more powerful your machine, the faster the conversion.
The user interface is easy to use and intuitive. The supported output file types are listed in the upper area of its window, easy to see and reach.

Pluses: It offers many interesting effects.

Drawbacks / flaws: It's a big resource consumer.

In conclusion: This app is a nifty multimedia file converter suitable for everyone.
